One-of-a-kind wood bowl by master wood turner Dr. Craig Mason. Opiuma Hollow Form With Natural Voids in the Surface. This tree grew on a steep slope on Fort Shafter. It was removed when some landscaping was being done. It had many bark inclusions which resulted in voids when the piece was turned.
Dr. Mason has been working with wood for more than 32 years, and uses only reclaimed wood...he never purchases wood or cuts down trees.
