Kristin Belew: Tomʻs Ono (Wahoo) - Diptych Framed

This four foot long wahoo (Acanthocybium solandri,) known as ono in Hawaiian, was caught on the Chang family fishing trip off Lāna‘i, Hawaii on July 3, 2021!  The original piece stayed in traditional Japanese form of only black and white with very few details added. I later added the color to a reproduction of the original to create this piece.
