Hercules is a clown triggerfish. This species is not often or even normally found in Hawaii, but I have seen one once! This piece was printed from a pinktail triggerfish- Which is a more rotund species. I chose to paint the beautiful colors and patterns of the clown triggerfish, which is also a fish that is a bit more round.
